What we've opened
Iron Rent has launched the first rental on Lombok built around big motorcycles. Until now it was hard to find an adventure or touring bike to rent on the island — the choice was mostly small scooters. Now you can rent a proper big bike directly from us: clear terms, a signed contract, clean helmets and support in three languages. It’s the same service and standards as in Bali, where we’ve operated since 2019. The Iron Rent Lombok office is in Kuta (Kuta Lombok) on the south coast — a handy base for the Mandalika circuit and the southern beaches. The location opened on 9 July 2026.
Which motorcycles are available
At launch, Lombok offers mid- and large-class adventure and road motorcycles — Kawasaki Versys-X 250, Suzuki V-Strom 250, Yamaha MT-25 and YZF-R3. Larger models are available on request. Where to ride on Lombok
Lombok is made for motorcycle touring. The loop around Mandalika and the viewpoints above its bays are a must. To the north lie the foothills of Mount Rinjani with switchbacks and waterfalls. In the south are the beaches of Kuta Lombok, Tanjung Aan and Pink Beach (Tangsi). The west coast around Senggigi runs along the sea with sunset views. Roads here are emptier than in Bali, and the scenery is every bit as good.
How Lombok differs from Bali
There is less traffic and fewer fuel stops on Lombok, and longer distances between points. That’s a plus for relaxed riding and a minus if you don’t plan your route: fill up in advance and don’t count on a rental shop at every beach. That’s exactly why we brought proper big motorcycles to the island — with servicing and support, not just scooters.
Delivery, deposit and insurance
Delivery within Kuta town is free. Delivery to other parts of Lombok is paid, based on distance, and arranged at booking. Rental includes two helmets and support throughout your rental. The deposit is refundable when the motorcycle is returned in its original condition. Insurance is optional, with two deductible tiers — it lowers the risk of large charges for damage.

How to rent on Lombok
Pick a model in the Iron Rent catalog, message us on WhatsApp and give your dates — we’ll confirm Lombok availability and arrange delivery, or meet at our Kuta office. You’ll need a passport and an International Driving Permit (IDP) with category A. Payment is on-site; no online prepayment required.

To rent from Iron Rent you only need a passport — we do not require a driving licence. Note separately: Indonesian law requires an International Driving Permit (IDP) with category A to ride. Without it you risk a fine at a police checkpoint, and your insurance will not apply in a crash.
Can I take a bike from Bali to Lombok?

Do I need experience for a big motorcycle?
