The yellow R25 is the ABS version: a 249cc parallel twin, 36 HP, and anti-lock brakes — the safety net that matters most on Bali’s wet season tarmac. A friendly, everyday sport bike rather than a track weapon.

Power arrives smoothly instead of all at once, which is why this is the R-series bike we hand to riders stepping up from a scooter. The riding position is sporty but not extreme, so an hour to Uluwatu does not wreck your wrists. ABS does its work in exactly the situation you cannot plan for: a car pulling out on damp asphalt.

A good first sport bike for riders who handle a manual. Made for day rides on the coast and in the mountains. Not for grocery runs or a passenger with luggage.

This is a focused sport bike — fast and exciting, but for long trips with a passenger a CB500X, Versys or a maxi-scooter may be more comfortable.
