Why partners matter when you rent a motorbike abroad

Renting a motorcycle in another country means trusting a company you have never met with your safety, your deposit and your holiday. Anyone can write good things about themselves. What is harder to fake is who chooses to work with you: a race circuit that lets you run track days on its tarmac, an international organisation that issues driving permits, brands that appoint you as their dealer.

What each partnership gives you

Mandalika circuit

Track days are the one thing a rental shop cannot improvise. Access to the circuit, safety briefings, a medical check and coaching all have to be arranged with the track. Our packages run from a 250cc session for first-timers to a Kawasaki ZX-10R superbike day, with gear, coaching and photo and video included. Track day packages

International Drivers Association

To ride legally in Indonesia you need your national licence with the motorcycle category and an International Driving Permit. Through our partner you apply online with no exam, and we check your documents before they are sent. About the partnership

Servicing with official dealers

A rental bike is only as safe as its last service. Every motorcycle in our fleet is serviced to the manufacturer’s schedule: routine work in our own workshop at the Kerobokan office, and scheduled servicing at the official service centres of Kawasaki, Honda and Yamaha dealers, whom we work with across the board. Dealer servicing follows the manufacturer’s own procedures.

Motolife motorcycle school

Motolife is our partner school: one-to-one lessons with a coach, an insured motorcycle, full protective gear and intercom helmets, from a first two-hour lesson to a pro course with mini-track sessions before a Mandalika track day. You book through us. Courses and prices

Official gear dealer

Helmets and protective gear at our office are genuine stock from the brands’ official channels, not copies. That matters for the helmet you ride in and for the ones we hand out with rentals.

Our commitments to every rider

• Price, deposit, delivery and insurance confirmed in writing before you pay, and a written contract for every rental.
• The deposit is returned in the same currency it was paid in.
• Cancel 15 days or more before the start and the prepayment is refunded in full.
• If the bike breaks down through no fault of yours: repair, or a bike of the same or a higher class at no extra rental cost, subject to availability.
• Swap to another bike during the rental for 100,000 IDR.
• A rental of up to a month never costs more than the monthly rate.
• Every bike is serviced to the manufacturer's schedule, in our own workshop and at official Kawasaki, Honda and Yamaha dealer service centres.
• Two helmets and a phone holder with every rental.

Iron Rent in dates

• 2019: Iron Rent starts renting motorcycles in Bali, from Kerobokan.
• 2026: our own paint shop, and a motorcycle wash with a café, open at the Kerobokan office.
• July 2026: office and a separate fleet in Kuta Lombok, next to the Mandalika circuit.
• September 2026: official partnership with the International Drivers Association.
