One place for every kind of rider

Most Bali rentals do one thing: scooters. That covers a lot of trips, but not the rider who wants a proper motorcycle for Ubud’s hills, a sport bike for a weekend in Uluwatu, or a cruiser for two. We built the fleet so that whatever you ride at home — or want to try for the first time — there is a bike for it, delivered to your villa, with the same contract, insurance and support whatever the size.

Automatic scooters and maxi scooters

The right tool for Canggu, Seminyak, Kuta and Sanur: no clutch, easy to park, light in traffic. The Honda PCX and Yamaha NMAX are the island standard; the ADV has longer suspension for broken roads; the XMAX 250 is the comfortable choice for two people and longer rides.

Manual motorcycles that are still light and forgiving: the café-racer Yamaha XSR 155, including our custom builds, the upright Honda CB150X for longer days, and proper trail bikes — Kawasaki KLX 150 and 230, Honda CRF150L — for volcano roads and black-sand beaches. Big bikes need experience, a category A licence or IDP and a higher deposit; we confirm all three before booking.

Optional insurance: two tiers, published in full

Insurance is not compulsory, but we recommend it on anything bigger than a scooter. It covers the motorcycle you rent. You choose one of two tiers when booking:

• MAX — if the bike is damaged, you pay your deposit plus 5% of the repair cost; Iron Rent covers the rest.
• MIN — your deposit plus 30% of the repair cost.

Example: a 50,000,000 IDR repair with MAX and a 5,000,000 IDR deposit costs you 7,500,000 IDR; the company covers 42,500,000 IDR. Conditions: report the accident from the scene, be sober, and be the rider named in the contract. Full terms and the worked example are on the damage policy page.

Delivery across the whole island

We bring the bike to your villa, hotel or the airport and collect it at the end:

• Free within 20 km of our Kerobokan office on rentals of 3 days or more — Canggu, Seminyak, Kuta, Kerobokan, Sanur, Denpasar, Jimbaran.
• 200,000 IDR to Ubud, Uluwatu and Ngurah Rai airport when beyond 20 km.
• Nusa Dua and other areas — we confirm the fee from your address.
• On Lombok, delivery is free within Kuta and paid elsewhere on the island.

What every rental includes

• Two clean helmets and a phone holder.
• A written rental agreement with PT SOUL BIKES INDONESIA — no passport left as a deposit.
• Tariffs for 1 day, 2 days, 3–6, 7–12, 13–29 days and a monthly flat rate; a shorter rental never costs more than a month.
• On rentals of 30 days or more, swap to another model at any time for 100,000 IDR plus the rate difference.
• Servicing for the whole rental, our own workshop, wash and paint shop.
• An International Driving Permit arranged in 3–5 working days if you arrive without one.
