Rent a scooter or motorcycle in Bali by the month and save. Best long-term rates, free delivery and optional insurance.
Renting by the month is the cheapest way to have a bike in Bali: roughly 2.5 times less per day than daily hire, and about three times less on a scooter. A Honda PCX 160 is around 200,000 IDR a day short-term and 2,000,000 IDR for a full month — about 67,000 IDR a day.
Rentals from 30 days, extended month by month. A passport is enough to take one out; riding legally also needs an International Driving Permit with category A, which we arrange in about three days.
| Class | Per month, from | Per month, up to | Per day equivalent |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scooters 125–160cc | 2,000,000 IDR | 8,000,000 IDR | from 67,000 IDR |
| Naked 250 | 3,000,000 IDR | 28,000,000 IDR | from 100,000 IDR |
| Adventure / trail | 3,000,000 IDR | 23,000,000 IDR | from 100,000 IDR |
| Sport | 3,500,000 IDR | 45,000,000 IDR | from 117,000 IDR |
| Cruiser | 8,000,000 IDR | 35,000,000 IDR | from 267,000 IDR |
The break-even point is about two weeks: past that, a monthly rate is cheaper than paying by the day even if you hand the bike back early.
A monthly rental with us is not tied to one motorbike. At any point you can change it for another model for 100,000 IDR — that covers the service check, wash and handover — plus the difference in rate if you move up a class. If both bikes cost the same, the 100,000 IDR is all you pay.
Swaps go sideways or up; you can move to a cheaper bike but the rate stays the one you were already paying. There is no cap on how many times you swap, though a particular model has to be free on the day you ask. The full detail is in our guide to long-term rental and bike swaps.
Insurance is optional with two deductible levels. The deposit is refundable. Fuel is not included.
From 2,000,000 IDR for a 125–160cc scooter, from 3,000,000 IDR for a naked or adventure 250, from 3,500,000 IDR for a sport bike, and from 28,000,000 IDR for big bikes above 600cc.
Considerably. A Honda PCX 160 is 150,000 IDR a day on a 7–14 day rental and about 67,000 IDR a day on a month. Four weekly rentals cost far more than one monthly one.
Yes — 100,000 IDR per swap plus any difference in rate. As far as we know, no other rental in Bali offers this.
Your passport is enough to take out the rental. To ride legally you need your national licence plus an International Driving Permit with category A — without it an insurer can refuse a claim. If you do not have one, we arrange it in about three days.
Yes, and over three months of daily riding that matters: a scooter will need at least one oil change, often brake pads and a tyre. All of it is ours, done in our own workshop.
Yes, month by month. You do not need to know your end date when you start.
114 motorcycles available now. Per-day prices; the longer the rental, the lower the rate.
