Candidasa is a quiet seaside strip on Bali’s east coast; Padangbai, 15–20 minutes away, is the port for the ferry to Lombok and boats to the Nusa islands.
Candidasa is a calm stretch of coast with a lagoon, small hotels and dive shops; inland lies Tenganan, one of Bali’s old Bali Aga villages. Padangbai is a compact port town with snorkelling at Blue Lagoon and a steady flow of travellers heading for Lombok and the Nusa islands. It is also a good base for Tirta Gangga, Sidemen and Amed.
We deliver to Candidasa and Padangbai: it is outside our free zone, so the fee depends on the distance and the length of the rental and is confirmed on WhatsApp before you pay. Or pick the bike up at our Kerobokan office (open daily 09:00–20:00) and ride east — 1.5–2 hours from Canggu to Padangbai, 2–2.5 hours to Candidasa. Important: taking a rental bike off Bali, on the ferry to Lombok or a boat to Nusa Penida, needs our prior written approval under the rental contract, so ask on WhatsApp before you buy a ticket. For riding in Lombok we have a separate fleet at our Kuta Lombok office.
To rent you only need a passport. To ride legally in Indonesia you need your national licence with the motorcycle category plus an International Driving Permit; we help arrange the IDP through our partner International Drivers Association.
For Candidasa, Padangbai and the coast road a 150cc+ scooter is the comfortable choice: Yamaha NMAX 155, Honda PCX 160, Honda ADV 160, or the Yamaha XMAX 250 for two people. The road down to Virgin Beach is steep, so a 125cc with two people aboard is not a good idea there.
For an east Bali loop — Sidemen, Tirta Gangga, Amed — the Honda CB150X, Honda CB500X or Kawasaki Versys 650 give more comfort and range. Bikes of 150–250cc need at least Pertamax 92, bigger bikes Pertamax Turbo 98.

Scooters start from 200,000 IDR per day, and monthly rentals from 2,000,000 IDR. A month never costs more than the monthly rate, so a long stay on the east coast is much cheaper per day. Every rental includes two helmets and a phone holder.
Yes. Both are outside our free zone, so the delivery fee depends on the distance and the rental length and is confirmed on WhatsApp before you pay. Deliveries run 10:00–19:00. Or pick the bike up in Kerobokan and ride east yourself.
To rent, only your passport. To ride legally in Indonesia you need your national licence with the motorcycle category and an International Driving Permit. We help arrange the IDP through our partner International Drivers Association.
Only with our prior written approval, as the rental contract requires. Write to us on WhatsApp before you book the crossing. If you are heading to Lombok, you can also rent from our separate fleet at the Kuta Lombok office.
About 2–2.5 hours along the coast bypass, and 1.5–2 hours to Padangbai. Leave in the morning to avoid the heat and the afternoon traffic around Sanur and Klungkung.
121 motorcycles available now. Per-day prices; the longer the rental, the lower the rate.
