Canggu is our home turf. We deliver free to Berawa, Batu Bolong, Pererenan, Echo Beach and Nelayan, usually the same day, and free delivery covers any address within 20 km of our office on rentals of 3 days or more. Delivery runs 10:00–19:00; the office is open 09:00–20:00 daily.
To take out the rental you need only your passport. To ride legally you also need an International Driving Permit with category A — if you do not have one, we arrange it in 3–5 working days.
Canggu traffic is slow rather than fast, and that shapes which bike makes sense. The Shortcut and the Batu Bolong strip clog around sunset, and the lanes between the rice fields are narrow, single-track and often blocked by a delivery truck. Nothing here rewards horsepower.
For most people staying in Canggu, an automatic scooter of 125–160cc is genuinely the right answer: it filters through traffic, parks anywhere and costs the least to run. A Honda PCX 160 or Yamaha NMAX 155 handles two people and a surfboard rack without complaint.
Step up only if you have a reason. A naked 250 or a maxi scooter makes sense if you regularly ride to Uluwatu or Ubud. Sport and big bikes are for the coast roads and track days, not for the Shortcut at six in the evening.

Every rental includes two helmets, free delivery and collection, and servicing for the whole rental period in our own workshop. Insurance is optional with two deductible levels. Fuel is not included; a scooter tank is four to five litres and lasts well over 200 km.

It is not the easiest place to learn — dense traffic, left-hand driving and narrow lanes. Start on an automatic scooter and on quiet lanes in the morning rather than the Shortcut at sunset. We show the basics for free at handover.
Yes, and it is about 2.5 times cheaper per day than renting day by day. On a long-term rental you can also swap the bike for another model at any point for 100,000 IDR plus any difference in rate.
