A board rack turns a scooter into the simplest surf transport in Bali: no taxi negotiations, no waiting, and you can check two or three breaks in one morning. The rack is fixed to the side of the scooter and holds the board upright along the bike.
It suits surfers who already ride a scooter confidently. A board changes how the scooter behaves: it makes you wider, catches the wind and makes squeezing between cars harder. If you are new to both surfing and scooters, start with short rides around Canggu before heading to Uluwatu.
To rent you need only a passport. To ride legally you need your national licence with the motorcycle category and an International Driving Permit; we help arrange an IDP through our partner International Drivers Association.
We fit the rack to whichever scooter you choose, as an add-on to the rental. Tell us your board length when you book and we confirm the price together with the bike and the dates. As with every rental, two helmets and a phone holder are included.
Side racks are made for shortboards and mid-lengths. A longboard is long enough to become a real problem in crosswinds and traffic; if you ride with one, keep to short, quiet routes.
Do not carry a board on a sport bike or any big motorcycle. They have no rack, and a board held under your arm or strapped across the seat is dangerous for you and everyone around you. For surf trips, the rack scooter is the right tool.

Two helmets and a phone holder are included with every rental; insurance is optional. Prices for 1–2 days and 13–29 days are on each bike page and in the full price list.
Scooters start from 200,000 IDR per day and from 2,000,000 IDR per month; long rentals are much cheaper per day, and a month never costs more than the monthly rate. Ask us on WhatsApp for the price of the rack scooter that is free on your dates.

Delivery and pickup are free within 20 km of our Kerobokan office on rentals of 3 days or more: Canggu, Berawa, Pererenan, Seminyak, Kerobokan, Legian, Kuta, Jimbaran, Sanur and Denpasar. Nusa Dua is usually free, but a few addresses are beyond 20 km, so we confirm yours first. Ubud and Uluwatu are free within 20 km, otherwise 200,000 IDR; the airport is 200,000 IDR. We also deliver to the rest of Bali: the fee depends on distance and rental length and is confirmed on WhatsApp before you pay. For rentals under 3 days delivery is paid, and we confirm the price before booking. Deliveries run 10:00–19:00.
No. A board held by a passenger catches the wind and can pull you both off balance, and it is a hazard to other road users. Use the rack, and if you are two surfers, take two rack scooters.
